Appointment comes as firm broadens its integration of advertising, brand communications and interactive design services

Primary Design, Inc., a firm specializing in advertising, brand communications and interactive design services, today announced that it has promoted its longtime director of account services, John Schroeder, to executive vice president. In his new position, Schroeder will be charged with forwarding the company’s position as a one-stop shop for clients looking for everything from brand design to environment display design and installation to digital application and website creation. Schroeder, who began his career working with a few of New York City’s top branding and design agencies, is also tasked with broadening Primary Design’s reach into new markets.

For 30 years, Primary Design has continuously evolved to successfully meet the changing needs of clients in metro markets throughout the U.S. The company’s deep expertise working with the nation’s most prominent real estate and multi-family development and management companies has fueled its entry into numerous other industries over the years. Its current evolution reflects contemporary demands for multidisciplinary design services, including digital and traditional advertising, branding, logo and identity design, indoor and outdoor display graphics, mobile applications, websites, video production and more. As part of this growth, the firm has recently hired additional digital graphics professionals and redesigned its offices to encourage cross-discipline collaboration, as well as forge strategic relationships to promote public relations, software development and video production services.

A graduate of Penn State University’s advertising program, Schroeder has served on account teams that helped shape the image of companies such as American Express, Payless ShoeSource and Ralph Lauren. Since joining Primary Design in 2007, Schroeder has identified and developed strategic initiatives for the firm while also overseeing account services across the company.
