Smyth Jewelers Sponsors the Annual Annapolis Diamond Dash This September
Annapolis, MD (PRWEB) September 11, 2014 -- The city of Annapolis is preparing for its annual Annapolis Diamond Dash, which will be held on September 13, 2014. The event features a $10,000 Uneek diamond ring giveaway sponsored by Smyth Jewelers. The Diamond Dash is a free community event. Participants only need a cell phone with text message capabilities and a team partner to get involved (and both participants must be 18 years of age) to have a chance at winning the Uneek diamond ring.
The event is an interactive community-based adventure, sponsored by Smyth Jewelers, and does not have a fee, but does require that participants sign up. In teams of two, participants will test their knowledge of the Annapolis Towne Centre as text messages, sent straight to their mobile phones, reveal hints and clues which lead them through the city. The ultimate grand prize is a $10,000 Uneek diamond ring, which can only be found by solving the text message clues -- but there will be plenty of other great prizes to win as well.
The adventure starts promptly at 11 a.m. on September 13, and participants will begin their challenge at the Annapolis Towne Centre Gazebo. Following the adventure, there will be an awards ceremony at 1:30 p.m. to hand out the prizes, including the Uneek ring. Space is limited for the event, so participants are encouraged to sign up as early as possible to make sure that their spot is secure. In the meantime, event coordinators are encouraging participants to get the city of Annapolis excited for the Dash; participants have already begun talking about the event on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram using the tags #DiamondDash and #SmythDiamondDash.
Smyth Jewelers is proud to participate in this community event yet again, and is excited that their Uneek diamond ring is already highly anticipated.
