Evolve Exchange Announces Webinar Series to Enable EMR Vendors Toward MU2
Delray Beach, FL (PRWEB) September 15, 2014 -- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released a final rule modifying the Meaningful Use Stage 2 reporting period for the EHR Incentive Program. The rule has significant implications for EMR vendors and the eligible providers subscribing to their software. Although the rule allows eligible providers to use their 2011 CERHT EMR for reporting in 2014, the final rule also states that eligible providers must report using a 2014 Edition CERHT EMR for a full 365 days, starting on January 1st 2015.
In light of the increasing pressure on EMR vendors, Evolve Exchange will be hosting a series of informative webinars explaining the impact of the new CMS mandate and highlighting innovative solutions. The first webinar will be on 9/19/14 with additional weekly webinars to follow.
“For the many EMR vendors who are still struggling to meet the Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements, the final rule issued by CMS can be detrimental to the future of their business” says Rich Allen, Director of Operations for Evolve Exchange. “Our webinar and the solutions presented will be a lifeline to those vendors who still haven’t met the 2014 CERHT requirements.”
Mr. Allen will be hosting the webinar series as well as working closely with EMR vendors to assess their needs and determine the appropriate solutions. For more information please contact Rich Allen - rallen(at)evolvecloudexchange(dot)com.
