Dali Wireless’ RF Router™ Receives Emerging Technology (E-Tech) Award at CTIA 2014

These accolades highlight Dali’s commitment to innovation and emphasizes that the unique capabilities of RF Router truly sets it apart from the competition.

Dali Wireless, Inc., a global provider of advanced end-to-end digital RF Router™ that transcends DAS, today announced that the High Density System (HDS™) was selected as a recipient of the CTIA Emerging Technology (E-Tech) Awards in the “In-Building Wireless – Small Cell, WiFi, LAN” category. The Award honors the industry’s emerging, innovative and cutting-edge mobile services, solutions and technologies, from areas such as network equipment, the cloud, M2M and the Internet of Things.

HDS, based on the RF Router, transforms RF distribution from an analog-based “point-to-point” network into a digital “multipoint-to-multipoint” network. This is enabled through its innovative end-to-end digital RF signal processing and software configurability. With these unique capabilities, RF Router is able to virtualize the radio access network (RAN) and drive Software Defined Networking (SDN) to the antenna. This means capacity and coverage are no longer static, but can be allocated wherever and whenever needed.

This revolutionary platform makes it suitable for many situations that require flexibility and scalability, including dynamic capacity allocation, intelligent coverage and cloud RAN. It can also serve as an end-to-end digital DAS, where the high capacity of macro cells from multiple operators, frequency bands, and air interfaces can be delivered precisely without traditional interference challenges, and in almost lossless conditions.

In addition to the CTIA E-Tech Award, Dali Wireless was also selected as the recipient of the Best of Tower & Small Cell Summit Award which recognizes companies who have made significant contributions to the wireless technology industry.
