Nexternal, a leader in cloud-based eCommerce software, is excited to announce the addition of two new platform enhancements, which complement its existing B2B functionality. New capabilities include “Quote Generation” – allowing merchants to accept formal requests for quotes from customers through their online store, as well as “Auto-Reordering” – giving customers the ability to subscribe to designated products for which orders are automatically generated on a recurring basis.

In addition to placing orders, B2B customers can now easily generate quotes through the online store which they can activate themselves via an online portal. If your customers need to request a quote before obtaining order approval or if you have sales reps that negotiate deals with wholesale buyers, this new quote generation functionality will automate the process. As a merchant, you have the ability to automatically send notifications of these quote requests to the appropriate sales reps, email quotes to customers, easily convert quotes into orders, and even restrict which customers can request quotes. “We love Nexternal's new quoting capability. The new auto-reordering or subscription management tools allow customers to subscribe to products on a recurring basis. Customers can easily sign up for subscriptions through your online store and specify frequency based on merchant defined selections. The system will also automatically email customers who have expired or declined credit cards, encouraging them to log in and update their information, and thus reducing customer service demands.
