InvestorX Incorporated (InvestorX) announced today the establishment of the Investorx.ca website that brings best practice search algorithms and mobile display free to all Canadian investors, advisors, c-suite executives, and the capital markets community at large.
“The investment industry is seeing more and more demands for disclosure of regulatory filings and we are here to provide the experience people need with today's internet and mobile expectations,” said Curtis Wennberg, InvestorX co-founder. “If you or your clients own shares, you want to set up an alert to receive the exact regulatory filing as soon as it's been filed with the regulators on the public SEDAR database. You also want to get access through your mobile phone without any hassles or downloading problems.”
Canada employs roughly 40,000 Canadians in the investment industry and has about six million investors. Investorx.ca will be the first public website or service that will offer these people the chance to be alerted to a regulatory filing and the first to work on their mobile phone.
“Some InvestorX packages are available with even more features for a small monthly fee, however, our interest is also encouraging the awareness and disclosure of key documents to investing Canadians and therefore, our groundbreaking core service is free for light users,” said Wennberg. “Everything about the site has been designed to make it easy for people to find the right documents, see the right information inside those documents, and then display those in the way they want them. We built it the way we wanted to use it ourselves.”
The database contains the recent filings for public companies, mutual funds, and ETFs. The InvestorX database is also refreshed near real-time to ensure you get the information as quickly as possible – just like the investment professionals would expect. InvestorX is a new, stand-alone company bringing innovation to the Canadian capital markets.
