Acumatica Customer Youngevity Selected as Finalist in Constellation SuperNova Awards
Kirkland, Washington (PRWEB) September 12, 2014 -- Constellation Research, Inc. the research and advisory firm helping clients dominate digital disruption announced Rick Taylor, VP of IT and Supply Chain at Youngevity, as a finalist in the fourth annual SuperNova Awards. The Constellation SuperNova Awards are the first and only awards to celebrate the leaders and teams who have overcome the hurdles of technology adoption to successfully introduce emerging and disruptive technologies to their organizations.
Youngevity needed to automate its accounting and distribution processes. With six warehouses, 400 products, and thousands of orders a day, the company wasn’t getting an accurate picture of the business and its software couldn’t keep up with 100,000 customers and 10,000 SKUs.
“Youngevity started looking to upgrade and found Acumatica,” says Taylor. “Not only were we looking to get all the benefits of the cloud, we needed something that would integrate with our existing Genealogy System. The change has been astounding. We can handle four times the business, and although we’re shipping three times as much product, our shipments are more accurate than they’ve ever been.”

The 2014 SuperNova Award finalists were selected from a pool of over 220 applications, and recognized by the SuperNova Award Judges as individuals who embody the SuperNova Award spirit to successfully and innovatively overcome the challenges of introducing new technologies to their organizations.
The winners of the SuperNova Awards will be announced at the SuperNova Awards Gala Dinner on October 29, 2014 in Half Moon Bay, California. The Gala Dinner will take place on the first night of Constellation’s Connected Enterprise innovation summit.
Selecting Finalists The SuperNova Award Judges evaluated all SuperNova Award applications against a rigorous set of criteria to identify applicants worthy of advancement to the finalist round.
The SuperNova Award Judges, comprised of influential thought leaders and journalists, were individually selected for their futurist mindset and keen ability to separate substance from hype.
R “Ray” Wang, Chairman and Founder, Constellation Research, Inc. said, “I was extremely impressed by the quality of this year’s SuperNova Award applications. We at Constellation know advancing the adoption of disruptive technology is not easy. Disruptive technology adoption often faces resistance from supporters of the status quo, myopia, and financial constraint. We believe actors fighting these forces to champion disruptive technology within their organizations help, not only their organizations, but society as a whole to realize the potential of new and emerging technologies.”
Jon Roskill, CEO of Acumatica, says, “Youngevity is a shining example of how companies experiencing growing pains can turn things around with the right technology. It can be scary leaving the comfort of familiar software behind, but embracing something new and disruptive like Acumatica is often just what small and medium-sized businesses need to take them to the next level.”
Selecting Winners
The SuperNova Award winners will be determined by a combination of public votes and judges’ votes. The judges’ votes will be weighted at 70% of the total.
Public polling opens on September 9, 2014 on the SuperNova Award page on the Constellation Research website. Acumatica encourages the general public to vote for Rick Taylor to win a 2014 SuperNova Award for innovators in disruptive technology.
Voting will take place here from September 9 – 30, 2014. https://www.constellationr.com/events/supernova/2014
