Aeris Announces GetWireless Wins First Customers’ Choice Award
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (PRWEB) September 15, 2014 -- Aeris, the Made for Machines™ technology and service provider, today announced that GetWireless has won the Aeris Customers’ Choice Award, following the 2014 CTIA Super Mobility Week conference that recently took place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Aeris partners were given the opportunity to showcase their innovative products at Aeris’ booth during the CTIA conference. Attendees of the conference were then encouraged to vote for the product they thought would have the greatest potential to further the M2M market in the coming years.

GetWireless distributes a select portfolio of cellular-based gateways, routers, modems and terminals from industry-leading manufacturers like Sierra Wireless (AirLink), Option NV, and Xirgo Technologies. The nano-WiPOM solution is an efficient, economical replacement for PC's and PLC's at remote sites in which monitoring, data logging, and SCADA occur. It is a highly-configurable wireless platform with plug & play peripherals, I/O connectivity, and an on-board processor. It is also ideal for solar/battery powered applications and can be leveraged as an expansion card for the Option CloudGate gateway or an external add-on board for Sierra Wireless AirLink gateways.
