Marijuana Entrepreneur Training Event and Expo
Ft. Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) September 15, 2014 (PRWEB) September 15, 2014
These events teach what’s legal and what’s not; what the startup business requirements are in each state; and how to safely manage and market the new business.
Speakers include industry professionals, such as medical marijuana pioneer Andrew DeAngelo of Harborside Health Center in Oakland,CA and cannabis business consultant Travis Howard of Shift Cannabis in Boulder, CO, who are already successfully running legal marijuana businesses all over the United States. Running a legal marijuana business involves knowing the county and state laws, learning strategies for raising capital, creating strategic alliances, understanding safety and security solutions, and learning effective ways to market different aspects of this highly-specialized and lucrative business.
Each event provides three opportunities. First, industry experts give do’s and don'ts on how to finance, run, secure, and market a legal marijuana business.
Second, each topic is followed by a question-and-answer segment which allows participants to ask each speaker questions.
Third, a sponsor exhibit is set up where attendees can speak to industry suppliers to make the right connections to start and/or build a cannabis network.
The event is followed by a cocktail party where speakers, sponsors, and students come together and network, sharing ideas and having questions answered.
