Jackson, MS (PRWEB) September 16, 2014
Forestry Suppliers announced several new products available for natural resource professionals, including Fisher Pro Arc Metal Detector Kits, Hart Plant Hole Diggers, Jamar GPS-Based Distance Measurer, and the Woodchuck Skideroon. These products are aimed at outdoor pros, including foresters, arborists, archaeologists, grounds maintenance, landscape management, wildlife management, and more.
“Unique in many aspects, these products aren’t items you can just run down to the local hardware store and get,” said Brigg Abercrombie, Product Manager at Forestry Suppliers. “We strive to bring innovative products to the professional markets and customers we serve. If we can provide a tool that increases efficiency and productivity in someone’s daily tasks, then we’ve done a good job.”
Fisher Pro Arc Metal Detector Kits are made in the USA and designed for professional archaeologists. This device can detect metal coin-sized objects up to 16” deep and features multiple search modes: Discrimination, Static All Metal, and Motion All Metal. The Fisher Pro Arc Metal Detector also has seven frequency options to minimize electromagnetic sensitivity. Fast retune speed allows the metal detector to distinguish targets such as coins and relics from other non-desirable objects like nails. The Fisher Pro Arc Metal Detector Kit includes headphones, rechargeable battery kit, pin flags with PVC stems, Rite in the Rain® paper, rain cover, field repair kit, and a hard carrying case.
Designed to efficiently dig holes for bedding and vegetable plants, Hart Plant Hole Diggers are excellent tools for landscapers or other individuals who have difficulty with their knees and bending. Made in the USA, Hart Plant Hole Diggers feature high-grade grips and are flared at the top to prevent mashed fingers. They also feature a stainless steel digging end with profile-ground sharp edges that cut through clay, roots, and rocky ground. The 47”-handle diggers come in 2” and 3.5” hole diameters, and the shorter 31.5”-handle digger has a 2” hole diameter.
The only distance measuring instrument with a 5-year instrument warranty, the RAC Geo II DMI GPS-Based Distance Measurer from Jamar Technologies is now available from Forestry Suppliers. The RAC Geo II distance measurer is more efficient and increases productivity compared to “hand wheel” models for projects like road inventories, surveying, mapping, bus route planning, and more. This device uses an internal GPS receiver to track vehicle movement and provides distance measurements with no external distance sensor needed. The RAC Geo II also provides GPS coordinates for mapping, highway and sign inventory, and more.
Also newly available at Forestry Suppliers, the Woodchuck Skideroon combines the functionality of a Pickeroon/Hookeroon with the ability to skid branches, brush, or small trunks by hand or by motor means. This tool is made in the USA and allows foresters, arborists, and outdoor maintenance crews to reduce strain from bending and offers increased protection against clothing rips. The Skideroon is constructed of 6061 aluminum, a high-strength stainless steel pick, and a removable and replaceable nylon-coated cable with 2,000-pound breaking strength.
Forestry Suppliers is regularly adding new products for natural resource professionals. The company’s website features the new products above as well as others, including Yeti Rambler Tumblers, RustOleum NeverWet, Plano Heavy-Duty Shelving, Better Built SUV Drawer Box, and more.
