TrueLook Unveils Redesigned Interface For Construction Webcams, Adds New Project Management Tools and Built-In 4G LTE
Winston-Salem, NC (PRWEB) September 16, 2014 -- TrueLook, a leader in construction webcams and project time-lapsing, today released a completely redesigned web interface with a number of industry-exclusive features. The new web interface was developed to provide a consistent, user-friendly experience across all devices and to deliver a better view of TrueLook’s live HD webcams. Along with this latest release, all TrueLook cameras now ship with built-in 4G LTE to boost the service’s speed. As always, customers simply connect power and the camera comes online automatically.
The new release focuses on a few key areas of improvement. Firstly, the interface was rebuilt from the ground up for an entirely user-friendly experience. Controls and menus are clearly labeled and intuitive. “One of our top priorities was ease-of-use,” said Ken Pittman, the lead interface designer. “Anyone should be able to look at TrueLook for the first time and immediately feel comfortable and in control.”
Users now have an extremely large and detailed view of their live webcam. Images and video from the camera nearly fill the entire web browser rather than being confined to a small application. Increasing the camera image size results in a superior view of the jobsite and takes better advantage of TrueLook’s crisp HD cameras.
TrueLook’s redesign takes a fresh approach to the service’s project management tools, as well as adding a few new ones. TrueLook’s popular “Image Calendar” has been enhanced to let users easily travel back in time, viewing any images from precise dates and times. “We’re very proud of TrueLook’s toolsets, from photo albums to time-lapse videos,” said Roger Yarrow, the lead developer of TrueLook’s latest release. “We’ve made image documentation very powerful, yet painless and intuitive to use.” New additions include camera user statistics, a project information display with five-day weather forecast, a separate photo album for “on the ground” mobile image uploads, and more.
The latest release also works across all devices by logging in from http://www.TrueLook.com. There are no plugins or mobile apps to download– just one website interface that responsively adapts to any screen size. Webcams can also be shared on public-facing websites by embedding the interface, as in previous versions of TrueLook. View TrueLook’s demo cameras to see live examples.
