Lucas Group Taps Carolina King as Vice President of Human Resources

This growth plan was inaugurated with the welcoming of seasoned HR management executive Carolina King, who has joined the firm as Vice President of Human Resources.
Having served at Lucas Group earlier in her career, King returns to the firm with the knowledge and skills necessary to help launch and execute a historic growth phase. With distinguished HR success in multiple industries and functions including sales, manufacturing, technology and professional services, she brings a powerful blend of HR science and art to her new role.
Most recently, King was Human Resources Director at Turner Broadcasting, Inc., where she managed a team of HR professionals in support of their domestic CNN business and partnered with senior executives to develop and drive a high-performance culture. Prior to CNN, she served in various HR roles with MarketSource, Fiserv, AT&T and Siemens.

Throughout her career, King has partnered with business leaders to set HR strategy and develop programs that align with the achievement of corporate objectives. Cultivating a broad-based Human Resource background, she holds experience in multiple areas including HR strategy development and execution, succession planning, change management, organizational development and performance improvement.

Bilingual in Spanish and English, King was born in Central America and grew up in Texas. Having lived in Atlanta for more than 15 years, she now considers Georgia home. She holds a BA in Liberal Arts and Business from the University of Texas at Austin, is Myers-Briggs, Lominger and PDI360 certified and maintains professional membership in SHRM and HRPS.
