Joshua Englander Joins HNTB as West Division Government Relations Manager
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) September 16, 2014 -- Joshua Englander has joined HNTB Corporation as West Division government relations manager. He brings more than 15 years of experience in managing policy and government relations in public, private and nonprofit sectors, including tenure as federal affairs representative for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Englander will assist with the development of the firm’s government relations strategies and messages to government officials, the media and public in California and throughout the region. He will be located in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
Prior to joining HNTB, Englander served as southern Pacific regional political director at the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee. Also, in his previous role as federal affairs representative for LA Metro, he was based in Washington, D.C., and helped secure funding, worked with Congress and the administration on long-term projects, and worked with Los Angeles County’s congressional delegation on issues impacting transportation projects within their districts.
Englander earned a master’s degree in political management from The George Washington University. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Davis.
