ADFS Bridge Appliance, deployed on-premises, provides secure single sign-on access to systems and applications located behind the firewall or in the cloud

You get a flexible solution that can securely and reliably connect any user to any federated application from any device, anywhere. Users get a seamless experience independent of application, their employer, location, or device.

Celestix Networks, the leading provider of secure remote access connectivity solutions, today announced that in October 2014 it will launch a new federation product, the ADFS Bridge Appliance. This new offering will provide seamless Active Directory (AD) integration with Office 365 and other software-as-a-service applications to enable secure single sign-on and access management for enterprises.

With the rise of cloud computing, there has been a dramatic growth in the number of software-as-a-service applications that are outside the firewall and disconnected from on-premises directories. Employees need to access these applications from different locations and different devices. The security challenge that IT administrators face is that these devices and applications are not connected to a corporate network or could not be controlled. Also, the number of users that IT manages has exploded as businesses extend application access to customers and partners.

ADFS Bridge Appliance, deployed on premises, is a plug-and-play solution that provides users with secure single sign-on access to systems and applications located behind the firewall or in the cloud. This appliance will enable rapid deployment and reduce complexity in the configuration and installation of Office 365 with minimal technical expertise. It will also allow IT administrators to extend Active Directory to the cloud with the DirSync integration, requiring just minutes to configure.

“The installation and set-up time will be reduced from a matter of weeks to mere hours, ensuring the lowest total cost of ownership among existing solutions,” said Yong Thye, Chief Executive Officer for Celestix Networks. “You get a flexible solution that can securely and reliably connect any user to any federated application from any device, anywhere. Users get a seamless experience independent of application, their employer, location, or device.”

ADFS Bridge Appliance has a robust monitoring and alerting system that IT administrators can access through a web-based management dashboard. Celestix is offering a free trial program for customers who are interested in early access to the appliance.
