Vienna, VA (PRWEB) September 17, 2014 -- LMT is pleased to announce its most recent contract award, in partnership with Lewis-Price & Associates, Inc., to train military media specialists at the Defense Information School (DINFOS) in Fort Meade, Md.
A component of the Defense Media Activity (DMA), DINFOS has a long-standing mission of producing outstanding Public Affairs and Visual Information personnel for all military services.
LMT and Lewis-Price will provide instructors for the following DINFOS departments:
• Broadcast Operations & Maintenance
• Course Development
• Distance Education
• Public Affairs & Leadership
• Visual Communications
“Being selected to partner with Lewis-Price to help train the next generation of media specialists for the military fits perfectly into LMT’s mission,” said Lani Hay, President and CEO of LMT. “Effective communications is a vital part of the success of any organization and any operation. Helping ensure that media specialists are properly trained by providing highly qualified instructors is another way we help our military maintain its readiness.”
When Lewis-Price was named the prime contractor, there was no question about who to partner with on the project, said Ken Coleman, President and Founder of Lewis-Price.
“In addition to having similar business philosophies and a complimentary vision for corporate culture, the LMT and Lewis-Price partnership’s strength draws on its foundation of trust,” said Coleman. “Additionally, LMT has a track record of success. If you want to be successful, you need to surround yourself with people and partners who are successful.”
Coleman, who has worked alongside LMT since 2008, noted the success of LMT's team, which has supported a wide variety of federal government contracts globally with the U.S. Department of Defense.
Lewis-Price, which received 8(a) status in 2011 as a small, disadvantaged firm, provides, among other services, accounting, staffing, human resources and budget analysis for corporate and federal government clients, like the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir.
“We do have core capabilities at Lewis-Price,” Coleman said. “But more than that, we have integrity in our people. We are committed to developing strong teams that are committed themselves to making sure our client’s mission is fulfilled, from the budget analysis we do to providing key experts to train the next generation of media specialists for the military.”
About Lanmark Technology Inc. (LMT):
LMT Inc. is a mathematic optimization company, helping business and government to transform otherwise ambiguous data into clear and actionable insight. Where most people see the events and details of life and work as narratives, LMT views the world through a mathematical lens, observing data points and numbers.
Deep in that data lies the meaning to numbers – trends, patterns and predictions of what may happen in the future. For government clients, that means preventing future harm from occurring to people and property. For business leaders, it gives them the solutions they need to make informed decisions.
For the last decade, LMT's team of analysts have studied the narratives from the frontlines of military operations to help predict and prevent military troops and civilian communities from getting hurt. Private organizations now increasingly turn to LMT for equivalent predictive analysis.
