Award-Winning Service Manager Joins J.W. Pierson Company

J.W. Pierson Company, a 125-year old, 3rd generation home energy company, is pleased to welcome Paul Cuprewich as its new Service Manager. Paul comes to the Pierson company with decades of experience and a sackful of honors and awards. Most recently, in 2013, he was the recipient of the Hugh McKee award, which is given to those “making an outstanding contribution to the fuel oil industry; having an understanding and cooperation with his/her fellowman; and having unselfishly aided the industry in education and related activities.”

Paul holds Silver and Gold Technicians’ certificates, and in addition he is a Master Electrician. “The tools and the machines have become more complex,” said Cuprewich ,“But honesty is the most important tool we have: Honesty between management and technicians, and honesty between the company and the customer. It’s the foundation of the trade.”

“At J.W. Pierson, we’ve always been devoted to customer service that goes above and beyond,” said Company President James Pierson. “With the support and leadership of Paul as our Service Manager, we will aspire to new heights by adding in more services such as air conditioning and duct work.”

Cuprewich has a long history for improving customer service. As an advisor and former president to the Garden State Chapter of the Oil and Service Professionals on education, he was instrumental in ensuring that the members were informed on the latest trends and technical information in the industry.

In addition to the esteemed Hugh Mckee Award, Cuprewich has earned the following accolades:
2000 Garden State Chapter Service Manager of the Year Award winner
2008 NAOHSM Service Manager of the Year Award winner while at Woolley Fuel
2010 Garden State Chapter Member of The Year Award Winner
