City of Pleasant Ridge announced today that it is has joined the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) Purchasing Group, an online purchasing group run by BidNet that provides vendors with an easier and more economical way to access and compete for local Michigan government bids and RFPs.

City of Pleasant Ridge announced today that it is has joined the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) Purchasing Group, an online procurement group that provides vendors with an easier and more economical way to access and compete for local government bids.

MITN Purchasing Group connects 1522 departments from 137 local government agencies and provides a bid notification system that gives vendors instant access to Bids, RFP's, Quotes and Amendments online. City of Pleasant Ridge joined the MITN Purchasing Group on September 15, 2014, providing its vendors with convenient access to bid information for the City of Pleasant Ridge and all other participating agencies on the system.

The online purchasing group is part of a nation-wide e-procurement solution powered by BidNet. BidNet’s e-procurement solution manages 15 government purchasing groups throughout the country providing over 1,000 counties, municipalities, school districts and other purchasing professionals a purchasing and vendor management solution.
