ASIS International Selects 2014 Accolades Winners
Alexandria, Va. (PRWEB) September 16, 2014 -- ASIS International, the preeminent organization for security professionals worldwide, has selected its 2014 ASIS Accolades Award winners. ASIS Accolades is an awards competition that recognizes the security industry’s most innovative new products, services, and/or solutions.
The 10 winners—including a new Judge’s Choice Award winner recognized from those 10—will be shown at the ASIS International 60th Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2014), the security industry’s leading event, held Sept. 29–Oct. 2 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga. More than 20,000 security, business, and government professionals from 80 countries are expected to attend ASIS 2014. The event’s comprehensive education program will offer 200+ sessions in 24 specialty tracks, addressing the hottest topics and issues in security today. The ASIS Exhibits features more than 600 companies and their exciting products and services that are transforming the security industry.
A team of judges representing end users and experts in security technologies evaluated all entries and selected this year’s winners. Preview them online here. "The entries this year were extremely impressive, making the task of selecting the winners a challenge,” observed Accolades Co-Chair Ron Lander, CPP. “The security profession today has an amazing array of high quality products and services to choose from, as ASIS 2014 attendees will see in the exhibit hall this year, along with Accolades winners, ” noted Co-Chair Howard Belfor, CPP.
The Accolades Awards will be presented at a networking luncheon on Monday, Sept. 29. All entrants have been invited to display their entries in the Accolades Showcase in the exhibit hall (Booth # 4349), and they can be previewed online now at the Accolades site. Additionally, the winning entries will be highlighted, along with other new products, during the Seminar’s “What’s New on the Floor” session, on Monday, Sept. 29 at 1:45 p.m. Voting for the People’s Choice Award Accolade will open on Monday as well. Attendees may vote via the mobile application or via the People’s Choice Award voting kiosks in the Accolades Showcase and at the Social Media and Technology Bar in the registration area.
