There are two main categories: feature film script and short film script, open to all genres.

The Grand Prize Winners in both categories will gain worldwide publicity and promotion announcing them as the winners, as well as ongoing publicity throughout the filmmaking process and beyond, including any film festival and premier screenings.
The Grand Prize Winner “Short Film” category wins a cash prize of $1,500 up front and our official screenwriter award for their category. The winning short film script will be produced for an estimated budget of between $10,000 - $50,000.
The Grand Prize Winner “Feature Film” category wins a cash prize of $2,500 up front and our official screenwriter award for their category. The winning feature film script will be produced for an estimated budget of between $100,000 - $300,000.
Entrants are also offered the Judge’s Scorecard and a brief summary of producer’s notes, as well as a personal 1-on-1 producer’s script analysis and consultation via teleconference, each for a small additional fee. See http://www.opendoorpicturestudios.com for more info.
