Comic Creates USPTO Condiment Category Chaos
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) September 18, 2014 -- It was only after research at the USPTO website prior to his filing a trademark application for his fanciful word mark Soyracha (tm), that comic, photographer, filmmaker Dailey Pike realized he had created a new acceptable identification of goods and services in International Class 30, that being 'hot chili soy sauce.' Pike says, "There were hot sauces, soy sauces, chili sauces, but only one single trademark filing in any category for 'hot chili soy sauce'. Mine."
Though Pike is the first, he has no delusion that he'll be the only. Pike declares, "I expect the major sauce manufacturers to scramble to create their own, but I'll always be the first. Soyracha brand's mouth watering flavor is due to the combination of ingredients. It's not the hot, it's not the salty, it's the flavor. Flavor is the thing people mention most after tasting Soyracha. It's the second thing too. This is the most flavorful new sauce you'll ever taste. Inspired by Asia. Made in America. It's America and the world's first hot chili soy sauce. Soyracha brand!"
In fact, Pike hopes the major sauce manufacturers like Tabasco, Huy Fong Foods, Frank's, Texas Pete, Louisiana, Crystal as well as fast food giants such as McDonalds, Quizno's, Subway, Carl's, Jack, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Pollo Loco, Panda Express notice Soyracha brand as he's looking for licensees, saying, "I've started at the ground floor, first creating a product and taste testing it for flavor. I can't emphasize how important flavor is. Now that I've found that perfect recipe, I've started advertising and promoting Soyracha brand on Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress, Pinterest, Vimeo and YouTube to build a grass roots customer base. My biggest fan is my Salvadoran 80 plus years young housekeeper Julia who tells me '...it tastes very good Mr. Dailey, very good!' "
