Mosquito Shield of South Shore Again Partners with Hanover Youth Athletic Association
Hanover, MA (PRWEB) September 17, 2014 -- In a continuing effort to protect local athletes from potential EEE and West Nile virus threats, Mosquito Shield of the South Shore has partnered for the second year in a row with the Hanover Youth Athletic Association to treat area fields in preparation for the upcoming season.
With daily practices going until dusk, prime mosquito feeding time, the exposure to mosquito-borne illnesses increases exponentially for young athletes, coaches, and parents involved in outdoor athletic activities.
Rob and Lisa Rowe of Hanover, who operate the South Shore and Cape Cod Mosquito Shield franchises, will participate with HYAA in a joint effort to reduce the risk of exposure through Mosquito Shield’s innovative mosquito control solution.
“As local business owners with children who participate in town sports we are big advocates of being active in our local community and throughout the entire South Shore,” said Rob Rowe. “We greatly appreciate this opportunity to once again extend our services to further protect kids even when they are not just playing in their own backyards.”
Mosquito Shield of the South Shore will treat the field at Hanover High School, home of the Hanover High Indians, where all local youth games and home high school games are played. In addition, Mosquito Shield will treat the main practice field that serves the local youth football teams.
