California Community Colleges and The Open Group Join the ITCC
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 19, 2014 -- The IT Certification Council has gained two new member companies. The California Community College system and The Open Group join the ITCC’s evolving list of leaders in the IT certification industry. The California Community Colleges system of 112 community colleges serves over 2.4 million students and is the largest co-secondary system in the nation. The Open Group is a global consortium with 440 member organizations that enables the achievement of business objectives through IT standards.
Information Communications Technologies (ICT) Director Stephen Wright says, “We are thrilled to be part of the ITCC. It gives the community college system of California an opportunity to collaborate with organizations that will potentially employ our graduates. It’s important to have this linkage and be at the table to have compelling conversations about how to promote the value of IT certifications.”

ITCC members design, develop and deliver certification exams and the accompanying study materials to create credentialing programs for the IT industry.
