Satcom Direct Earns CompTIA and Cisco Certifications

Satcom Direct has added value to the training and instruction it provides to customers by adding expertise to its Americas Training and Support teams.

All members of Satcom Direct’s Training team for the Americas have earned Certified Instructor and Trainer status with CompTIA CTT+. This qualification allows them to teach certified courses and provide certified train-the-trainer instruction.

CompTIA’s certification covers core instructor skills, including preparation, presentation, communication, facilitation and evaluation in a classroom environment. Two exams are necessary to be certified and the skills obtained allow Satcom Direct to provide a higher level of training to its customers.

Additionally, Satcom Direct’s Support group members have each received CompTIA’s Network+ certification which adds additional IT and networking knowledge to the group. These certifications are in addition to the Cisco CCENT and CCNA certifications some of the support personnel already have obtained. Both the Network+ and Cisco certifications provide Satcom Direct’s Support group with the knowledge and know-how to assist customers with setup, troubleshooting and efficient use of their office-in-the-sky networks.
