Alger Hires Patrick Murphy as New Chief Compliance Officer

Patrick, who has 14 years of compliance experience, was previously a Vice President of Compliance at Fidelity Investments where he oversaw key elements of the firm’s compliance program including the firm’s compliance policies and procedures. His previous experience includes working as an attorney at Ropes & Gray, LLP. He has also been an instructor of English at The University of Delaware and an Editor at Quinlan Legal Publishing Company. Patrick earned a J.D. from Cornell Law School, an M.A. from the University of Delaware, and a B.A. from The College of the Holy Cross.
