Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) September 26, 2014 -- KME Systems, an all-inclusive solutions provider for business IT services with locations in Las Vegas and Orange County, will host a luncheon presentation in Las Vegas on October 9th, 2014. The event, titled HIPAA Data Breach: What is it and How to be Prepared, will take place at Cili Restaurant at the Bali Hai Golf Club from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. PST. Seating is limited so early registration is strongly suggested.
The event will feature a presentation from Kevin McDonald, President of Noloki, a healthcare technology compliance and support organization. Kevin is a HIPAA Privacy and Security Expert. His presentation will cover what a “genuine” breach looks like, the process of identifying a potential privacy violation, how to assess the probability of compromise, and much more.
“HIPAA is a complicated issue in the healthcare industry today. Data breaches are preventable which is why we decided to host an event to help guide people on the steps to security and compliance. Our speaker is an expert. It should be a great event,” said Mark Essayian, President and CEO of KME Systems.
