Equiteq further strengthens its global Buyer focus with new appointment
(PRWEB UK) 22 September 2014 -- Shant’s career spans 14+ years of management and technology consulting, and M&A transaction advisory. He has advised to the board of world leading Corporate and Private Equity firms on value creation in both buy and sell side deals. Shant joins Equiteq from KPMG, where he led its UK Deal Services capability, working across Management Consulting and M&A Transaction Services.

After starting his consulting career with Deloitte (formerly Andersen) in Canada and later the UK, Shant joined PwC’s Transaction Services group where he advised clients on pre-deal M&A value creation on deals from £500m to £4bn+ in value. Shant then moved to KPMG to lead its UK Deal Services capability, where he advised leading corporate and private equity firms on all aspects of M&A consulting, including carve-out strategy, M&A synergy and integration, IPO readiness, and turnarounds.
Shant holds a Masters degree in Corporate Finance from the London Business School and dual degrees in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario (Canada).
