Atlanta’s Progressive Medical Center Announces Progressive in the Park 5K
Atlanta, GA. (PRWEB) September 22, 2014 -- Progressive Medical Center, a leading integrative medical clinic in the Atlanta area is pleased to announce their first annual Progressive in the Park 5k race for life. This event, which will take place on Saturday, October 11th will benefit patients in the Atlanta area who cannot afford essential medical treatment for life-threatening conditions.
The race will be held at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody, GA with registration from 7-8am, and the race starting at 8:30am. With the cost of the 5k completely covered through Progressive Medical Center’s partnership with Dunwoody Labs, 100% of the proceeds from the race will be donated to patients who otherwise would not be able to afford their necessary treatment.
About the Progressive Community Research Fund:
Progressive Research Fund is a non-profit organization that was founded to cover the cost of integrative therapy for individuals with life-threatening conditions. Many insurance companies refuse to cover integrative medicine, and as a result patients have to pay out of pocket to cover costs.
