The Targa by CGI product launch has been recognized by Window & Door Magazine with a 2014 Crystal Achievement Award for Most Innovative Marketing Program, Small/Medium Manufacturer.

Selected by a panel of judges representing all segments of the industry, the Window & Door Crystal Achievement Awards recognize significant innovations and achievements in window and door technology, manufacturing and marketing. Judges include previous winners and a broad mix of executives, consultants, and personnel involved in product development, marketing, production, sales, and distribution.
The Targa by CGI launch consisted of a three-pronged outreach, and included audience-specific information for dealers, architects, builders, and homeowners. Each element was designed to introduce and familiarize these three audiences with Targa, while also reinforcing the CGI brand. Included in the rollout: a dedicated website; 500+ full-sized product samples; a new brochure detailing energy performance values; promotional items; a product binder (both print and loaded onto a flash drive) for use in the field; pre- and post-launch direct dealer contact; print ads; discounts and dealer rebate programs; and new POS dealer displays. Homeowners were reached via the new website; strategic social media outreach; online advertising retargeting; and public relations activities.
“The response was strong and quick,” continued Dawson. “The website saw an immediate uptick of more than 25%, while all social media portals experienced exponential growth. Most importantly, sales orders were up 33% over target.”
