Kristen A. Corpion and Timothy A. Kolaya, associates in the Litigation practice at the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., have been selected for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s 2014-15 class of Leadership Miami. The program provides educational training and experiences to cultivate the next generation of community leaders.

At Greenberg Traurig, Corpion focuses her practice on general litigation matters. Her community involvement includes serving on the Board of the Dade County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section, as a Committee Chair for the Miami Dade Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, as a volunteer member of the Florida Coordinating Committee for the National Association of Women Judges’ Informed Voters Project, and as an Assistant Coach to Florida International University (FIU), College of Law’s Competitive Trial Team. In June of 2014, Corpion won the Legal Services of Greater Miami's "Legal Eagle Closing Argument Competition." Corpion is the first female and youngest attorney to win, has been added to the competition's "Hall of Fame" and recognized as the "Best Closer in Miami-Dade County.”
Corpion received a law degree in 2013 from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law and a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in 2010 in political science and anthropology from the University of South Florida.
Kolaya concentrates his practice on commercial litigation in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration panels, with a primary focus on construction and real estate matters. His professional and community involvement includes: Member, Urban Land Institute, Southeast Florida/Caribbean District Council; Member, American Bar Association – Construction Industry Forum, Litigation Section; Member, American Inns of Court, Spellman-Hoeveler Chapter.
Kolaya received a law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2008, a master’s degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2001, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Miami in 2000.
