MISSISSAUGA, ON (PRWEB) September 23, 2014
Father and son start-up Ceiling Appeal revealed today a new product for adding a unique decorative spin on pot lights. The product, targeted to enter retail this year, is a plaster-based self installed product that is installed around a pot light to add a new fresh look. Fully paintable, and coming in different sizes, Ceiling Appeal's flagship product can be truly customized to match your existing decor without new lights, costly or invasive installation, or other costs.
The Toronto area duo identified a niche in the market and quickly moved to setup a facility in Mississauga, ON where they currently self-manufacture the product by hand. The Canadian-owned, privately held business has its sights set on both major retailers and regional players across Canada and beyond in the coming months and years.
Kicking off the excitement, President David Macaes announced today, “we want to excite homeowners and get more real world applications of the product, and we're looking for unique applications.” Alluding to a contest that is being launched, Mr. Macaes followed that up by saying “we're inviting consumers to purchase our product at discounted prices, and submit their projects for a shot at some great prizes.”.
Ceiling Appeal has kicked off their social media based contest, titled Big Design Contest, which can be viewed at facebook.com/ceilingappeal. Top spot is slated to win $1000 and $1 will go to Habitat for Humanity for every mold sold. Consumers can purchase the product at reduced introductory prices and have a shot at some great prizes .
