Tour the beautiful Galena countryside, enjoy jaw-dropping fall colors and visit some of Illinois' best pottery and sculpture studios Fri.-Sun., Oct. 17-19. Some open just for this October event, featuring special exhibits and allowing visitors a unique view of kilns, forges and work spaces.

During this self-guided tour, visitors are encouraged to ask questions, browse the studio and watch demonstrations.

Each potter has a unique approach. Stops on the tour include:
•Eshelman Pottery, 238 N. Main St., Elizabeth IL 61028.
•Pinder Pottery, 236 N. Main St., Galena IL 61036.
•Delores Fortuna, 7213 W. Buckhill Rd., Galena IL 61036.
•Pine Hollow Pottery, 4700 N. Council Hill Rd., Galena IL 61036.
•Galena Clay Works, 704 Dewey Ave., Galena IL 61036.
•Studiowork, 130 N. Main St., Elizabeth IL 61028.
