Health and Education Getting Gigabit Broadband Services
Tahlequah, Oklahoma (PRWEB) September 19, 2014
September 1, 2014 – RBSC Oklahoma LLC, a Tahlequah based Telecommunications firm, will introduce its state-of-the-art, fiber based, Smart Private Network (SPN) to the Cherokee Nation. The advanced technology implementation begins in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, which is the capital of the Cherokee Nation. RBSC will focus on connecting facilities within the Tahlequah area for the remainder of 2014. Beginning January 2015, health care and educational institutions within the fourteen counties of the Cherokee Nation will be among the first to receive high-speed, gigabit broadband services, including Smart Connect™. Once the project is complete, the Cherokee Nation will have one of the most technologically advanced, fiber-based, private networks in America. In addition, this upgrade will allow community service organizations to provide premier services to its citizens.
RBSC's Smart Connect™ is a (SPN) Smart Private Network. There are no special protocols, no encrypted tunnels and no special hardware is needed. Gigabit fiber technology empowers businesses with specific IP addresses that perform like a Wide Area Network (WAN). Each of the servers, employees, and network devices are only a click away. Because it is private, traffic never leaves the network because it never goes to the Internet. Only the designated team can access the network. There are no doors for hackers to enter.
The technological upgrade of the Nation’s telecommunications network will be under the direct responsibility of Mr. Chuck Hoskin Sr., Chief of Staff of the Cherokee Nation. Mr. Hoskin and his Staff will be responsible for the approval, acquisition and administration of high speed broadband services to the Cherokee Nation.
RBSC Oklahoma LLC (http://www.rbsc.us) constructs and operates its fiber based network and broadband services to serve rural American cities, beginning with the City of Tahlequah and Cherokee County.
RBSC’s Rapid Deployment Technology utilizes FCC wireless spectrum licenses, 100% fiber optic gigabit networks and shared infrastructure for broadband and smart grid applications for rural America. RBSC systems provide low cost, high speed (up to 10Gbps), high-capacity, point-to-point, broadband services (wired and wireless) including voice, data and video services to commercial and residential customers in rural America.
