For the first time, the National GAS Rodeo was held in Colorado Springs, Colorado and a record 51 teams competed with over 600 people in attendance. The champions are team Insane Methane, from Piedmont Natural Gas (North Carolina) and Explosive Limit from Colorado Springs Utilities (Colorado).
“The Rodeo was a tremendous event this year,” says John Gann, vice president, program services, for Midwest ENERGY Association. “It was great that so many teams came out to experience the first Rodeo in Colorado. The location was picture perfect and the volunteers from Colorado Springs Utilities were wonderful. MEA congratulates all the teams who competed.”
