Announcing New Online Yoga Classes With Yoga Tree’s Sonya Genel
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) September 24, 2014 -- YogaVibes, the premium source for streaming online yoga classes and free yoga videos, is excited to introduce new yoga classes online with Yoga Tree’s Sonya Genel.
Sonya’s classes weave together precise anatomical alignment, flowing movement, breath work, and energetics. In all of her classes, Sonya aims to hold a safe space for transformation, always approaching her students with authenticity and humor.
“So great is my passion for sharing the transformative gift of yoga, that I want to scream it from the rooftops,” says Sonya. “That is why I am thrilled to be teaching on YogaVibes.com! Now, I can reach more people with this message. There are so many people living in towns and places where there isn’t access to a yoga studio. The idea of being able to reach them in their very own living rooms is very exciting.”
To practice with Sonya, try her short and energizing online yoga sequence: Quick Morning Flow. Designed to uplift energy in the morning, this 30-minute yoga routine, filmed at Yoga Tree, is arguably better than a cup of coffee! End feeling oh-so-good in body and mind.

ABOUT SONYA GENEL
Sonya Genel joyfully embraces the power of yoga not only to heal and transform the body, but also to heighten human consciousness and to create a radiant life. Sonya discovered yoga in the 1990s in Boston. She began with Ashtanga yoga and power vinyasa, but as her practice evolved she gravitated more towards alignment based styles such as Anusara and Iyengar. She was not planning on becoming a yoga teacher, but after a few years the powerful benefits of her own practice compelled Sonya to share the transformative gift of yoga with others. She attended her first teacher training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Over the years she has completed hundreds more hours of training in Tantra and alignment based yoga, prenatal yoga, anatomy, therapeutics, and meditation. Sonya is honored and grateful to have studied with many incredible teachers such as Paul Muller-Ortega, Sianna Sherman, Jill Miller, KK Ledford and Jean Mazzei. Sonya now leads public classes, workshops, trainings, and retreats in the San Francisco Bay Area.
