Excellence In In-Store Marketing Recognized at POPAI’s 2014 West Coast POP Show
Pasadena, CA (PRWEB) September 19, 2014 -- The “Best of the West” for in-store marketing and merchandising displays was announced September 18, 2014 at POPAI’s Annual West Coast POP Show. More than 100 leading brand marketers, display producers, retailers attended the event held at Noor Premier Events Center to recognize companies excelling in the industry.
“We couldn’t be happier than to see the ever-changing retail industry through innovative and effective in-store marketing,” said Rich Carrigan, President of United Displaycraft. “It was evident through the attendance and exhibiting displays, that our industry is strengthening.”
The show boasted nearly 70 entries, across 12 categories, putting in-store marketing front and center.
“In-store marketing is a $17 Billion industry that brands and retailers should tap more into,”said Michelle Adams, Founder & President of Marketing Brainology. “We know from the POPAI Shopper Engagement study, displays can entice shoppers to buy. This year’s winners are creative, intriguing, & will capture shoppers’ attention.

The recipient for the Dick Scott Award for Excellence in Marketing at Retail was also announced during the 2014 West Coast POP Show. The 2014 recipient was Albert Guerra of Cornerstone Display. This award is in honor of Dick Scott, a West Coast POP pioneer known for his significant contributions to the in-store marketing industry. All recipients of this award have distinguished themselves in the in-store marketing industry by elevating the visibility and understanding this advertising medium.
