Mediaplanet today announces distribution of its first cross-platform edition of “Manufacturing in America,” shedding light on the skilled labor shortage, finding solutions for industry improvement, and encouraging the resurgence of domestic production.

The print edition of “Manufacturing in America” is distributed within the weekend edition of USA Today in Chicago, Atlanta, D.C./Baltimore, San Francisco, Detroit, Houston and New York, with a circulation of approximately 450,000 copies and an estimated readership of 1.3 million. The digital component is distributed nationally through a vast social media strategy and across a network of top news sites and partner outlets. Mike Rowe, CEO of the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, trade activist and host of Discovery Channel’s “Dirty Jobs” graces the cover of the print publication. Through an exclusive interview in the interior, he encourages the U.S. to support domestic manufacturing and educational pursuits in the related fields, specifically praising laborers. Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker also lends her voice in an exclusive interview with Mediaplanet, covering emerging industry trends as well as touching upon the manufacturing renaissance underway.
