Announcement: GuitarControl.com releases “Easy Fingerpicking Exercise on Basic Chords - Acoustic Guitar Lesson on Fingerpicking Technique”
(PRWEB) September 20, 2014 -- Darrin uses basic open position chords for this exercise to keep it simple for the beginner. Darrin demonstrates these chords as follows; C, Em (E minor), G and D/F# (D over F sharp), which is an open D chord with the added F# note played with your thumb on the 2nd fret of the 6th string. Darrin starts off by demonstrating the finger picking pattern of P I M A, P=thumb, I=first finger, M=second finger and A=third finger. Goodman demonstrates the entire picking sequence for each chord as P I M A for strings 4, 3, 2 and 1 and then switches to strings 5, 4, 3 and 2 and then strings 6, 5, 4 and 3 and then back to strings 5, 4, 3 and 2 and then change to the next chord and start the whole picking sequence over again on strings 4, 3, 2 and 1 and simply repeat over and over again changing chords ever time the picking sequence starts over. Darrin continues this easy beginner acoustic finger picking guitar lesson by demonstrating other finger picking sequences such as P M A I and P and A picked simultaneously followed by M and I. Guitar TAB’s are available for this easy acoustic guitar lesson at GuitarControl.com.
