The Executive Director of Group Advancement is a newly-formed position at WMG.

Windsor Marketing Group (WMG), an innovative in-store marketing company based in Suffield, CT., has announced the hiring of Donna Murphy as the company’s Executive Director of Group Advancement.

Windsor Marketing Group was founded in 1976 as an innovative in-store marketing group that creates, produces, and delivers shopper marketing programs that inspire and influence in-store buying patterns. The company utilizes cutting-edge technologies and creative innovations to assist its nearly 200 associates in serving over 3,000 retailers in the United States, including many of the nation’s largest retailers.

The Executive Director of Group Advancement is a newly-formed position at WMG.

“As a growing, socially-responsible organization, this new position will be critical to advancing WMG’s agenda in a positive and effective way,” said CEO and Founder Kevin Armata. “Donna Murphy will be working with key constituencies ranging from local and state governments, trade associations, community affairs and university partners.”

Murphy comes to WMG with 22 years of experience in local government. The 1992 graduate of Westfield State University is a CCMA II Certified CT Municipal Assessor who has worked on multiple local and state EIDC projects.

In her role, Murphy will be responsible for ensuring that WMG actively participates in all relevant government grant and economic development programs, lead all aspects of the company’s community-focused initiatives, and serve as company representative on the board of the Connecticut Food Association (CFA) trade group.
