Appliance repair franchise recognized at international conference.

Mr. Appliance of New York City, owned by Stuart Kauder, earned the Mr. Appliance Franchisee of the Year Award at The Dwyer Group® International Conference September 7-10 in Orlando, Florida.

The Franchisee of the Year Award is the highest honor than can be earned by a franchisee in the Mr. Appliance network. The winning franchise must show consistent growth through proper training and management of the organization, consistent high sales volume and quality customer service.

“This award shows just how committed and dedicated our team is at providing excellent service to our customers,” said Kauder. “The Mr. Appliance system helps us build long-term relationships with our customers. We will continue to maintain professional, customer driven care and services.”

“The Mr. Appliance team is thrilled Stuart won the Franchisee of the Year Award,” said Mr. Appliance President Doug Rogers. “He really understands what Mr. Appliance is all about, and we all feel blessed they are on our team.”

Kauder also received the Top Gun Award, Sales Leader of the Year Award and the $1 Million Benchmark Award.

The Top Gun award goes to franchise owners who achieve top sales and reach operation benchmarks. The Top Gun recipients represent the top 10 percent of Mr. Appliance franchise owners across North America.

“The idea of ‘Top Gun’ was established by the Navy in the 1960s as a way to give training and credit to elite fighter pilots,” said Rogers. “Taking a page from the Naval Top Gun Program, each year we recognize our franchise leaders for their accomplishments and dedication to the trade. It takes dedication, hard work, expertise and commitment to reach the Top Gun goal and we are honored to have these winners on our team.”

The Top Gun designation was inspired by the 1980’s movie of the same moniker. Don Dwyer, the late founder of Mr. Appliance’s parent company, The Dwyer Group, initiated the concept. He felt the top franchise owners went the extra mile and did what it took to be exemplary.

The Sales Leader of the Year Award is presented to the Mr. Appliance franchisee that reports the highest sales volume during the award year.

The $1 Million Benchmark Award is presented to franchisees as they pass higher annual retail sale levels.

The Dwyer Group International Conference is a business event designed to bring the many concepts of The Dwyer Group together annually for updates, inspirational speakers, informative business-specific classes and, most importantly, fellowship amongst the thousands of gifted and dedicated individuals that own and operate their own franchise.
