PRMA collaborates with New Level Partners and St. John's University to create comprehensive program for high net worth specialists

The Private Risk Management Association (PRMA) is pleased to announce its collaboration with New Level Partners (NLP) and St. John’s University’s School of Risk Management (SRM) New York, New York to deliver a comprehensive professional development program for insurance specialists working with High Net Worth clients. The program under development will consist of a series of courses, available online and in classroom format, leading to a Certificate in Private Risk Management issued by the Center for Professional Education at St. John’s SRM.

“We are excited about the opportunity to participate in this rapidly growing specialty, working with PRMA and New Level Partners,” said Maureen Furlong Weber, Director of St. John’s SRM. “Our contribution to the program will be led through our Center for Professional Education, which has more than 40 years of experience designing and delivering training to the insurance industry, both in the U.S. and overseas.”

To officially kick-off the collaboration and to ensure the needs of the membership were captured and considered in the development of the education curriculum, PRMA sent a survey to current and prospective members seeking feedback. “As an organization driven by its members, it was very important to gain valuable insights from our membership at the onset,” said David Spencer, SVP, ACE Private Risk Services and PRMA Education Co-Chair.

More information about the proposed launch of the program, as well as course availability, will be announced at the PRMA meeting in Chicago on Nov. 10th and 11th.
