Houston, Texas (PRWEB) September 21, 2014 -- Rob Lowe, who is well known for his roles in major films and television shows such as “The Outsiders” and “The West Wing,” will share unexpected glimpses into his successes, disappointments, relationships, and one-of-a-kind encounters with people who shaped the world over the past 25 years in the presence of Houston fans: BRILLIANT and annual sponsor Tenenbaum & Co. are presenting Lowe to Houston on Thursday, Oct. 9, for a one-night-only appearance at 7 p.m. at The Wortham Center.
In his first memoir Stories I Only Tell my Friend: An Autobiography. Complete with adolescent anecdotes, Rob Lowe shares astoundingly personable excerpts as he recalls his encounters, experiences, and the audition that changed his life forever. Lowe will give BRILLIANT patrons an inside look into what goes on behind the scenes of Hollywood and all the people whom he has s met along the way.
Lowe began his acting career in television and theater at the age of eight. After his family relocated to Los Angeles, Lowe was cast in a starring role in the ABC series “A New Kind of Family.” Most recently, Lowe starred in the TV film “Killing Kennedy” as President John F. Kennedy, which premiered on the National Geographic channel in November 2013 and broke a record to become the network’s most watch telecast in its history.
