The Forest Suites Resort at Heavenly Village has offered rooms, on a complimentary basis, to the Hotshot fire crews to use as a base to refresh, regroup and prepare for their next assignment, according to Peter Evenhuis, Director of Sales & Marketing. “It is basically a thank you for their hard work in fighting this massive and extremely destructive fire." The offer was made by Evenhuis to the Eldorado Interagency Hotshot Crews operating out of Camino, CA.

The Kings Fire is now reported to be only 10% controlled and affecting thousands of residents. Although not currently in danger, the Forest Suites Resort at Heavenly Village is located about 3 miles from the Angora Hills fire, which devastated over 200 South Lake Tahoe homes in September 2007. Now, the entire staff and management team of the hotel are trying to show their support and appreciation to the fire fighters involved in battling the Kings Fire, some 50 miles from South Lake Tahoe.

The Forest Suites Resort at Heavenly Valley in South Lake Tahoe has been family-owned and professionally run for over 40 years. The location and suites set up for perfect Lake Tahoe Family Vacations, as well as providing some well needed rest and relaxation with friends or couples.
