Madison, AL (PRWEB) September 23, 2014
Cabinet Document Management Solutions (Cabinet), a leading provider of electronic document management software and workflow software for small and medium-sized businesses, has announced its Cabinet SAFE client solution now enables users to collect e-signatures using Adobe EchoSign.
“We understand that today’s business environment is a 24/7/365 proposition,” said Andrew Bailey, president of Cabinet. “With that reality in mind, we are always looking for ways to make our users’ lives easier, more organized – and, of course, secure. We are thrilled to now offer our Cabinet SAFE client users Adobe EchoSign technology, which enables them to get important documentation signed from anywhere in a secure, encrypted environment.”
For more than a decade, e-signatures have been established and federally recognized in the U.S. as legal, fully binding and equivalent to wet ink signatures under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN).
Benefits of e-signature include:
- Improved traceability of important documentation and contracts;
- Less costly methods of signature verification;
- Less opportunity for forgery; and
- Automated archiving for easy maintenance of audit trails, which are digitally sealed and encrypted.
To take advantage of the new offering, users must be using the Cabinet SAFE client and an enterprise account with Adobe EchoSign.
