Kovar’s Family Martial Arts Presenting Complimentary Anti-Bullying Workshops to Public
Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) September 26, 2014 -- Kovar’s Family Martial Arts, with nine locations in the Sacramento area, is presenting a series of four anti-bullying workshops to coincide with National Bullying Prevention Month in October. The free workshops are open to the public and will be held at all nine Kovar’s Family Martial Arts locations. Each workshop will focus on a specific aspect of bully prevention.
According to Dave Kovar, Founder of Kovar’s Family Martial Arts, “Our organization has made it our mission to end bullying. In these workshops, we’ll teach kids simple and effective ways to deal with bullies and show them how to avoid being bullied in the first place.” He added, “We want to reach as many kids as possible. We are offering several sessions each week at each location, so that every child in the area will have a chance to attend the workshops”
Workshop schedule:
- WED, OCT 1: What to do if you’re being bullied?
- WED, OCT 15: What to do when you see others being bullied?
- WED, OCT 22: What is bullying? Why do people do it?
- WED, OCT 29: Buddying, not bullying.
Each workshop will run approximately 45 minutes and the schedule varies by location. Kovar’s Family Martial Arts has locations throughout the Sacramento area.
