Howl Under the Moon this Halloween at ZipZone Canopy Tours
COLUMBUS, Ohio (PRWEB) September 24, 2014 -- (September 22, 2014)—Ghost, goblins, zombies and all things that go bump in the night await area thrill-seekers as ZipZone Canopy Tours revives its popular “Freaky Flight” Nights during Halloween week. Halloween can be a treat for all ages, from hayrides to haunted houses, and at ZipZone the trees will come alive October 28-31 for a different kind of creepy quest – zip lining in the dark.
“If you are feeling brave and looking for an out-of-the-ordinary and eerie adventure, zipping in the dark intensifies the spooky spirit that is Halloween,” said Lori Pingle, owner of ZipZone Canopy Tours. “And because ZipZone is a hands-free zip line activity, Freaky Flights is truly an all thrills, no skills activity making for some scary good fun for the whole family.”
Adding to the excitement of the evening, pumpkins await zipping daredevils atop the treetop platforms to be “chucked” at targets set throughout the forest while whizzing down the lines. Wear a Halloween costume and be eligible to win a free zip – one will be given away to the best costume of the week.
Space is limited for the Freaky Flight Night Zipping Tour as there are only two tours each of the four nights at 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., October 28-31. The cost for the two-hour tour is $64 per person on October 28-30 and $69 on October 31.
For non-nocturnal adventurers, ZipZone is open throughout the day with multiple tour times through November 9. Located on the grounds of Camp Mary Orton, ZipZone offers a unique way to see the change of the seasons. A fall zip trip puts you right in the middle of rich reds, bright yellows and vibrant oranges to get bird’s eye view of the fall colors.
Throughout the remainder of the season, Canopy Tours can be enjoyed for $64 Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and $69 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The new Zip Rush tours fly high Friday through Monday for $45 and there are still a few days left to enjoy the Full Moon Tour or Forest Discovery Tours.
