Enabling community banks to easily educate customers about cybercrime while assisting them in meeting compliance obligations under the new MFA guidelines.

InfoSight Inc., provider of Managed Security, IT Compliance and Vulnerability Management services for regulated industries, announced a new agreement with The Independent Community Bankers Of America (ICBA).

The agreement offers ICBA members discounted access to InfoSight’s Customer Security Awareness Program (CSAP). Using the program, banks can educate their retail and commercial customers about cyber security and related threats with topics on Corporate Account Takeover, ACH/Wire Fraud and other cyber threats that lead to fraud, financial losses and client victimization. The security awareness program also helps fulfill compliance obligations under the 2012 multi-factor authentication (MFA) that requires financial institutions to manage a robust awareness and education effort for their customers.

InfoSight’s CSAP provides ICBA members with customer-ready content such as articles, videos, newsletters, webinars and workshops available in multiple media formats. Financial institutions are able to use the content in a variety of ways including adding the content to their website, email newsletters, statement stuffers, or placing posters in branches. Also included, are special security awareness events for customers such as live webinars and in-branch security workshops.

“InfoSight’s Customer Security Awareness Program provides everything you need in one place,” said Marlee Melville, ICBA’s Education/Products VP. “The program includes a variety of tools such as pre-written email campaigns, videos, games, and other resources to help ICBA members build or enhance their customer security awareness efforts.”

“Providing information security awareness education for their retail and commercial customers is among the top agenda items for financial institutions as well as regulators.” said Tom Garcia, CEO of InfoSight. “We help deliver an effective and quality security awareness program to institutions. By coordinating the implementation efforts with the banks’ internal resources, they are free to concentrate on other priorities.”
