Greek Minister of Energy, Yannis Maniatis, to open the Balkans Oil & Gas Summit next week
(PRWEB UK) 24 September 2014 -- The Greek Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, Yannis Maniatis, will open the Balkans and Adriatic Oil & Gas Summit by presenting the new licensing round, known in the industry as the “Greece Mega Project”. The Deputy Minister of Croatia, Alen Leveric; the Deputy Minister of Economy of Montenegro, Vladan Dubljevic; and the Deputy Minister of Energy and Industry of Albania, Dorian Ducka, will also present on the important hydrocarbon developments in each respective country during the course of the three-day Summit.
Amongst the globally established international and national oil companies that will gather for the Summit in Athens are Anadarko Petroleum, Bankers Petroleum, Dana Gas, ΔΕΠΑ, Edison, Enel, Energean Oil and Gas, ExxonMobil, Gazprom, Gripen Oil & Gas, Hunt Oil, INA, Marathon Oil, OMV, Petroceltic, Petromanas, Plinacro, Ratio Petroleum, Russneft, RWE Dea, Shell, Sterling Energy, Sumitomo Corporation, Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), Transatlantic Petroleum, Vegas Oil & Gas, Zarubezhneft, and 70 other companies.
The 3rd Balkans and the Adriatic Oil & Gas Summit will take place on 1st-3rd October 2014 at the 5* Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens and is sponsored by Bankers Petroleum, EPE, NRC, Spectrum, Weatherford, Aggreko, Phoenix Technology Services and ATP Instone. The Petroleum Club of Romania, the Romanian Committee of the World Energy Council, the Romanian Energy Center and the Albanian Energy Association are supporters of the initiative.
