In this easy beginner lead guitar lesson Gaby performs this easy blues guitar lick in the key of B minor using the pentatonic scale in the first position. The lick that Soule teaches incorporates the techniques of; hammer-on’s, pull-off’s, slides, bending and vibrato. Rather than just sticking to the straight notes in the scale pattern Gaby uses numerous passing tones which lead the ear between a minor and a major sound. This is a great lick for the beginner to learn due to the variety of techniques that are used to execute the lick and the added passing tones make it easy to fit the lick into a variety of styles including; blues, rock, jazz and country. Gaby does a great job of breaking the lick down so you can easily follow along with him. Complete guitar TAB’s are available for this easy beginner lead guitar lesson at GuitarControl.com.
