Area’s Top Business Leaders, Economists and Healthcare Experts to Headline Danbury’s first major Economic Symposium “The Economy and You"

Free event to be held October 16th at Ives Concert Hall, Western Connecticut State University Midtown Campus. Area residents are encouraged to ask questions, participate in discussions.

Danbury, Ct. The area’s first major economic symposium, The Economy and You, will feature an illustrious slate of experts including Western Connecticut State University, President Dr. James Schmotter, Western Connecticut Health Network’s CEO, Dr. John Murphy and international economist Nicholas Perna, an advisor to Webster Bank. The event is free of charge and area residents are encouraged to spend the evening with local Education, Business and Healthcare leaders discussing current economic trends, technological developments and how to succeed in today’s economy.

We want to inform the community on critical issues that help them not to just survive but thrive in this economy”, commented event host, Robert Reby, CEO of Danbury based Reby Advisors.

After the welcome session at 6:00 PM, the program will kick-off with Dr. James Schmotter discussing “Building a Better Education System”, Dr. John Murphy will share his insights on The Future of Healthcare and Nicholas Perna his predictions on Will the Jobless Recovery Continue.
