Project Walk – Twin Cities is gearing up to open its doors and will begin seeing clients October 6, 2014. This will be the fourth franchised location to open as part of the rapidly expanding Project Walk network.

Based on The Dardzinski Method™, Project Walk is the pioneer in activity-based recovery and has developed a highly competitive process for recruiting and hiring new Specialists.

“We have incredibly high expectations of our Specialists as they are the heart and soul of what we do,” say Project Walk Director of Operations, Brian Malkinson. “They attend four weeks of training here at Project Walk headquarters in San Diego so they can best learn The Dardzinski Method. This is to ensure that the method is being implemented correctly at all our locations.” Malkinson adds, “Our Twin Cities staff is bright, intelligent and passionate about what we do. We are thrilled to have them on board.”

Twin Cities will open with two Certified Specialists Nikki Wolfert and Josh Nix.

Nikki graduated in 2014 from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. Nikki has previous experience with rehabilitation while working as an intern for the athletic department for the University of Minnesota. Nikki says, “While in school, I have always been interested in the central nervous system.” She adds, “I am really excited to be part of a company that allows me to utilize past experiences and degrees to help others.”

Josh graduated from Concordia University – Saint Paul with a Bachelor of Arts, Exercise Science. He also holds certifications including NSCA-CPT, CrossFit L1, CrossFit Powerlifting, First Aid, CPR and AED. Josh says, “I am excited about the opportunity to work with individuals who come prepared to give their all despite the challenges ahead of them.”
